About

Stephen Omukoko Okoth

Economist, operator, and product builder

LeadAfrik is the home for that work: clear policy analysis, data-backed explainers, and products shaped by how people actually make financial and business decisions in African markets and beyond.

Profile

What the work is about.

My work sits at the intersection of economics, capital markets, and product building. I care about turning complex systems into things people can actually use, whether that means a policy explainer, a household calculator, or a marketplace product built for Kenyan users.

LeadAfrik is how I bring those threads together in one place. It is both a public economics platform and a product studio for tools that reduce friction, improve trust, and make markets easier to navigate, from calculators and marketplaces to property-operations software.
